Welder Fabricator – Temp-to-hire!

A well-established manufacturing company in Cincinnati that offers a competitive wage and seeking someone to hire on after the temp-to-hire phase.

Position Details:

Seeking multiple candidates for the welding department. This is a shift position with the hours of 5:00am-3:30pm, with starting the pay of $20.00-$24.00/hr.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

The Fabrication Welder position encompasses Production Welding, Fabrication and Quality responsibilities. Duties include analyzing blueprints, welding jobs, maintaining production standards and producing consistently accurate work.

• Welding
  1. Correctly welds pieces of metal together.
  2. Prepares materials for welding, cuts, grinds and cleans metal.
  
  
  Fabrication
  3. Utilizes fabrication skills to complete all phases of fabrication.
  4. Provides feedback and input into the fabrication process regarding order of assembly, design, materials, fixtures and jigs.
  5. Conceptualizes and makes fixtures.
  
  
  Additional Duties
  6. Ensures correct documentation and processes are followed for standardized work process.
  7. Annotates and marks up customer blue prints for future reference.
  8. Produces work daily that is consistently accurate.
• Occasionally will be required to walk, stoop, pull objects, kneel and climb stairs. 
• Will be required to occasionally reach high and low and lift items weighing 35 to 75 lbs

• Steel-toed boots are required

Experience:

1. This position requires a minimum of three to five years experience. Incumbents are required to have an understanding of the fabrication processes, the ability to read blue prints; and knowledge of the welding diagrams and symbols.
2. Ability to read and understand blueprints, including welding diagrams and symbols
3. Ability to use hand tools. 
4. Incumbents are required to have an understanding of fabrication processes.

Licensures and Certifications: Welding certifications preferred but not required.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
