We are seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher (LBS1) for the 2025–2026 school year in Will County, IL. This is a meaningful opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a collaborative, student-centered environment. You'll work alongside a team of dedicated educators and specialists to create and deliver individualized instruction that drives real impact.

• Position: Special Education Teacher (LBS1)

• Location: Will County, IL

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, School Hours

• Duration: August 2025 – May 2026

• Provide direct instruction aligned with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Modify curriculum and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development and progress monitoring

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

• Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or related field

• Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement

• Experience working with students who have a range of learning and behavioral needs
