Job Details Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our fast-paced agency. We’re looking for a Project Manager who will monitor the day-to-day needs of a variety of client’s communication teams. The qualified candidate will work closely with the Director of Workflow to ensure client needs are met. He/she will be responsible for resource management, upholding workflow/agency process, working closely with Brand Management, Media and Creative teams delivering projects and exceeding client expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Fosters and maintains positive relationships with interoffice department contacts to ensure project goals are met.
- Routinely receives and processes new project requests in a timely manner.
- Hosts efficient meetings to coordinate project team members and manage projects throughout their lifecycles.
- Monitors multiple projects and project resources concurrently, working closely with team members to accurately schedule, coordinate and manage projects and timelines.
- Works with leadership to manage creative resources and refine processes for efficiency.
- Tracks project progress against workplans and holds project owners accountable for timely delivery.
- Uses and identifies project management tools and software and implements new processes.
- Establishes a standardized project approach, develops metrics and tracks progress, resolving issues as they arise.
- Compiles regular status reports for agency and client leadership.
- Works with project managers to track agency production calendar and Creative out of office dates.
- Works directly with the Chief Creative Officer on schedules and timesheets.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience as a project manager required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, advertising, communications or related field required.
- Work experience within a corporate marketing environment or advertising agency preferred.
- Strong project management abilities, skilled in balancing multiple projects and project owners.
- Able to articulate with strong oral and written communication skills, able to proofread copy and data.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and delivering on time.
Proficient in MS Office and experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Basecamp, Mavenlink, etc.
