Job Description

Market of Choice Cedar Mill is hiring for Beer & Wine Stewards. This position starts at $17.50/hour - $20.00/hour depending on experience with growth opportunity up to $20.50/hour.

About the role

Our Beverage Departments feature beer, wine and coffee selections from around the world and our local neighborhoods, providing an exceptional assortment for customers. We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate teammate to join our Beverage team. You will work in a high-energy, team-oriented environment, accurately preparing customer orders in a prompt and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers in selection and recommendations
• Helping with quarterly inventory and meeting sales goals
• Keeping current and continually expanding knowledge of beer, wine, and coffee
• Organizing, stocking and facing Beverage Department
• Checking in deliveries/logging all invoices daily
• General cleaning and maintenance of sales area, floor, signs and coolers

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience with and knowledge of beer and wine.
• Ordering and merchandising experience are a plus.
• Open availability including evenings and weekends.
