A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Blockchain Engineer.
Position type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with possible extension
Location: Charlotte, NC
As a Blockchain Engineer you will:
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Specialty Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex multi-faceted larger scale or longer-term Specialty Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
- Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function policies procedures and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
- Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in building, developing, implementing, and maintaining core blockchain modules in Go using the Cosmos SDK, including a sophisticated, role-based token-factory for native asset issuance.
- Experience in designing and implementing custom logic within the ABCI++ interface (Prepare-Proposal/Process-Proposal) to enable advanced features and optimizations.
- Experience to configure, launch, and maintain our blockchain network, including genesis configuration, validator setup, and consensus parameter tuning.
- Experience in Implementing and managing cross-chain functionality using the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol.
- To write exhaustive Unit, Integration, and End-to-End tests to guarantee the security, correctness, and performance of the core protocol.
- Participate in architectural discussions, conduct rigorous code reviews, and contribute to our high standards for technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in our development, test, and production environments.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $80 - $85 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
