BCBA Behavior Analyst

ABOUT THIS JOB:

We are looking to hire a BCBA to supervise clients at the Katy location. It is a gorgeous nautical theme facility that is designed to be sensory friendly and encourage play/imagination.

ABOUT SOS:

Success On The Spectrum is a national Autism Treatment franchise with a dedication to quality. We offer ABA, ST, OT, and Social Skills Classes in our nautical centers, in-home, and in-school. Our play-based model emphasizes NET, so we take clients on field trips! We also encourage high parent involvement and allow parents to watch their child’s therapy live from our parent viewing room!

SOS does not require employees to sign non-compete agreements. All BCBAs get two weeks of initial training from our corporate office - for this, you may have to travel to Houston for 1 week. We do not require training payback agreements.

At SOS, we value work/life balance. Office Managers are responsible for making the daily client schedules. Each BCBA has the option to be assisted by an intern and has a flexible max caseload of 9-12 clients depending on the the amount of supervision each client requires. Our clients are primarily based in-clinic with in-home services being offered to clients that are graduating from the clinic and generalizing to the home environment or clients that have a focused skill set that needs to be developed and show little to no maladaptive behaviors. You will have true oversight and design of your clients programming with the support of your Clinical Director to advise and ensure programming is within the scientific scope of our practices. Additionally, you will oversee staff members that are specifically assigned to your team to ensure easier training and continuity across your cases. BCBAs generally work Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, and are not expected to take work home. And SOS is proud to have full billing transparency. Nothing gets billed to insurance without BCBA approval.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Work In Center Monday - Friday
• Once per week, supervise in-home clients
• Perform Assessments (VB-Mapp, AFLS, Social Skills Solutions, etc)
• Create Individualized, research-based client programs
• Analyze client progress and update programs as needed
• Weekly parent training meetings and progress updates
• Supervise Interns and RBTs in-center and in-home
• Weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service trainings
• Insurance correspondence (pre-auth requests)
• Safety Management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BCBA Certification (At least 1 year post certification preferred)
• Licensed Behavior Analyst in Texas by start date
• BLS / CPR certification by start date
• No criminal background
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to lift at least 40 pounds, to sit on the floor, and to be physically active
