Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This role is essential in providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests during breakfast hours. The ideal candidate will have a passion for guest services and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and cleanliness.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring all food items are fresh and well-presented.
- Serve breakfast items, including coffee, pastries, fruits, and hot dishes, while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist guests with any inquiries or special requests, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Buss tables promptly after guests finish their meals to maintain cleanliness in the dining area.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items and assist with any necessary food preparation tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred but not required.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling guest inquiries over the phone.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures is beneficial.
- Experience with kitchen operations, including meat cutting or coffee preparation, is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential for success in this role.
