Summary
This position performs all tasks required for installation of a complete structured cabling system in a new or existing construction environments. This includes but is not limited to horizontal cabling, copper/fiber optic backbone and security/CCTV devices.
Job Responsibilities
Knowledge and ability in the installation practices of fiber optic CCTV and Security installs.
Perform all tasks required for installation of cabling systems in accordance to code requirements.
Be able to extend circuits and troubleshoot effectively.
Maintain work areas in a clean and safe condition.
Adhere to Power Plus! safety and quality standards.
Other duties may be assigned as business needs require.
Competencies/Requirements
Manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, comfort working with heights – climbing ladders and working in bucket trucks
Knowledge and ability in the installation practices of fiber optic CCTV and Security installs a plus.
Ability to read and understand construction blueprints
Ability to work in extreme temperatures
Effective verbal communication skills
Able to attend to multiple priorities with frequent distractions.
Valid, clean state Driver’s License and clean DMV report
Knowledge of basic Microsoft office programs (Power Point /Excel /Visio/ Word).
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00
