The Golf Cart Attendant provides bag, cart and range services to members and guests and is one of the most visible Associates at Rumbling Bald. As a Rumbling Bald Associate, you will also benefit from access to all onsite amenities plus FREE Golf and discounts on food, spa services, boat rentals, and merchandise.
Essential Job Duties:
- Greet members and guests and ensure they have an enjoyable experience.
- Operate the front cart area in the highest professional manner.
- Assure the orderly flow of play in accordance with the posted tee times. Rotate players as needed to ensure the flow of play.
- Check with the golf shop for any unusual or special instructions, such as cart paths only, etc.
- Make sure all equipment; radio, cart, etc. are working correctly.
- Post the conditions of play for the day.
- Assist customers with finding a game when necessary.
- Maintain an adequate supply of scorecards, pencils, tees, ball markers, etc. at the first tee and in other locations on the course as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive and motivation.
- Flexible schedule with ability to work evenings and weekends, if required.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license without restrictions that would limit fulfillment of the essential job duties.
- Golf experience or knowledge of the game required.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- talk, hear and speak with others using clear and professional language;
- endure long periods of driving, sitting, standing or walking in a hot, humid environment;
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance on an occasional basis;
- reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, climbing and stooping and use hands and fingers to handle or feel; and drive vehicle for performance of duties.
