Certified Nursing Assistant - Physical Therapy Unit at St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Overview St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Physical Therapy team.(full-time only for referrals) Hours/Schedule Schedule: Thursday - Saturday and every other Wednesday Shift times: 0630-1700 (0.9 Full Time FTE) Unit description: This is a unique position where the employee will function in this role as a Rehab Aide on our Magic Valley Acute Care therapy team and assist therapists with their therapy treatments throughout the day. As well as complete tasks that help the department run smoothly. They will also help with some patient exercise and mobility plans. Responsibilities The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) 2, assists nursing personnel in providing patient care in assigned areas. Performs other skills/tasks as identified by the unit/department that require a unique body of knowledge/skills. + Performs various patient care activities and related nonprofessional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients. + Documents information in patient record. + Performs various direct patient care activities under direction of licensed patient care provider. + Communicates information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care. + Assists physicians and other nursing staff members with procedures as appropriate. + Performs tasks and procedures as ordered by the physician or licensed provider consistent with approved protocols, policies, and procedures. + Performs tasks that require a unique body of knowledge and skills for that area of service. + Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications + Education: No Education Required + Experience: 6 months experience + Licenses/Certifications: Current CNA Certification in the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
