OVERVIEW / RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Change Communication Specialist is responsible for creating and delivering on communications related to Transformation and Change Initiatives at FM Global. This role requires a creative thinker who is self-driven, results orientated and excited to drive change adoption in the organization.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage content and reviews for the internal change communications microsite
Design and develop initiative specific communication plans, aligned to the change management approach
Develop clear, concise and effective communications in alignment with Brand and company standards
Write, design, develop and execute tactical and strategic communications, including email announcements, articles, talking points, website copy, video scripts, basic video editing/creation, etc.
Build compelling and visually appealing powerpoint presentations and other visual aids
Manage a central repository of communcation assets
Consult and guide teams to use best practices (process, platforms, tools, nomenclature, messaging, language, tone and tactics) to maximize communication effectiveness
Gauge audience saturation, adjust approaches to address issues/risks and leverage learnings to inform future planning and overall effectiveness
Track and report change comunication KPIs and metrics
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience developing strategic and tactical internal communications
Experience conceptualizing and designing PowerPoint and other visual aids
History developing SharePoint pages and managing a microsite content
Experience supporting large corporate and technology transformations
Experience with script, video and persona development
Experience working in a complex business environment with highly technical content
Financial Services / Insurance experience a plus
Consulting and global experience a plus but not required
Skills/Knowledge
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent creative deck-building/PowerPoint skills
Accuracy and strong attention to detail
Effective at navigating ambiguity to deliver results
Effective at prioritizing and working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and service-oriented environment with quick turnaround times
Strong presence and communications as well as listening skills, with an ability engage effectively both in 1:1 and large group settings
Passionate about driving change and enabling employees
Quick learner with a flexible, adaptive, and creative mindset
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism or other closely related field
Prosci ADKAR Certification or other formal Change Management training a plus, but not required
