Position Overview:

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for providing overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight of the bank. The CEO works closely with the Board of Directors to ensure the financial strength, regulatory compliance, and long-term growth of the institution while upholding its mission to serve the community with integrity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the bank’s strategic plan, aligning business objectives with the needs of the community and shareholders.
• Provide leadership and direction to the executive team and staff to achieve performance goals, maintain sound risk management, and ensure strong asset quality.
• Oversee all banking operations, including lending, deposits, treasury, compliance, and customer service.
• Foster strong relationships with regulators, community leaders, and customers to enhance the bank’s reputation and market presence.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Report regularly to the Board of Directors on financial performance, strategic initiatives, and operational matters.
• Guide and mentor executive management, building a culture of accountability, innovation, and community service.
• Lead efforts to expand market share, introduce new banking products and services, and maintain competitive positioning.
• Safeguard the financial health of the institution by monitoring liquidity, capital adequacy, profitability, and overall risk exposure.
• Represent the bank in community and industry events to strengthen relationships and promote the bank’s mission.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in banking or financial services, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
• Proven track record in strategic planning, financial management, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong understanding of community banking principles, lending, credit risk, and deposit operations.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
