About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the development and implementation of the overall information technology enterprise framework. The CIO will be responsible for devising and maintaining all IT procedures, practices, and procurement strategies, as well as overseeing the IT infrastructure, including telecommunication systems, networks, and data centers. This role involves regular interaction with executive leadership to review key IT issues, identify and recommend IT projects, and ensure their successful implementation. The CIO will also be tasked with creating and managing the annual IT budget and ensuring compliance with records retention schedules. A transformative leader who can thrive in a dynamic work environment is essential for this position. Applicants for the CIO role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in Information Management or Computer Science, with a Master's degree in public administration or business administration being desirable. A minimum of 10 years' of management experience in information management systems or local area computer networks is required. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, data analysis, budgeting, and business operations, as well as superior analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are also necessary.
