• Power Plant-Specific Inspections: Conduct inspections and tests on power plant-specific structures, including turbine foundations, cooling towers, switchyards, and transmission line structures.
• Specialized Concrete Testing: Witness testing and Perform inspections relevant to power plant construction, such as verification of concrete mix designs, reinforcing steel installation inspections, Concrete and Grout Pre and post-placement inspections, etc.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with not only general construction codes but also specific regulations governing power plant construction, including environmental and safety standards.
• Advanced Technology: Familiarize yourself with and inspect the installation of advanced power generation technologies, such as combined cycle systems or renewable energy components.

Skills Required

• Power Plant Experience: Prior experience working on power plant construction projects is highly preferred.
• Specialized Knowledge: Familiarity with power plant-specific codes, standards, and materials is a significant advantage.
• Safety Focus: A strong emphasis on safety due to the complex and potentially hazardous environment of a power plant.

Education/Training/Certifications

• A high school degree or G.E.D. is required.
