Your Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator, you will:

• Provide education, consultation, and leadership to elevate nursing practices within our acute care settings.
• Collaborate with medical teams to develop and implement innovative educational programs that enhance patient care and staff competencies.
• Foster a culture of nursing excellence and participate in clinical research to refine practices and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A BSN from an accredited university (Master’s Degree preferred).
• A current Registered Nurse license in the State of Connecticut.
• At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Essential Duties

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care.
• Assessing the quality of care for specific patient populations.
• Coordinating and implementing nursing staff orientation programs.
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and deliver educational curricula.
• Monitoring trends and implementing educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participating in research and applying findings to advance clinical practice.
