The Clinical Social Worker at Boston Children's Hospital's Waltham Satellite provides comprehensive clinical social work services and case management in a multifaceted medical environment. Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, counseling, crisis interventions, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care. This 32-hour onsite position requires a Master's degree in Social Work and LICSW licensure in Massachusetts, emphasizing the importance of strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced setting.

32-Hour LICSW social work position that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management to the Waltham Satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital. This satellite offers ambulatory services in over 35 inpatient and outpatient medical specialties plus imaging and laboratory services. This social work position will provide services to the whole site and all specialties.

This Waltham Clinical Social Worker will be responsible for:

• Psychosocial screening and assessment
• Counseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community services
• Acting as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams

To qualify, you must have:

• Master's degree in Social Work. LICSW licensure in the state of MA is required
• Flexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful

This position is 100% onsite and based in Waltham (Free parking!)
