Your Day

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Demolishing structures such as high-rise buildings, bridges, and factories.
  • Operating both manual and mechanical demolition tools, including heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Utilizing blasting techniques or explosives when necessary.
  • Interpreting plans and specifications related to demolition projects.
  • Setting up and dismantling ladders, scaffolding, and other temporary work structures.
  • Constructing and removing fences and gates around job sites.
  • Removing valuable materials like pipes, radiators, and light fixtures from buildings.
  • Safely working at heights and operating mechanical equipment.
  • Using both hand and power tools effectively.
  • Assisting the site foreman or supervisor with various daily tasks.
  • Acquiring the technical knowledge needed to operate essential tools and machinery.
  • Lifting heavy objects and maintaining flexibility to navigate challenging positions.

You will also need to:

  • Possess physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, endurance, and the ability to maintain focus on responsibilities.
  • Complete required training and safety instruction.
  • Be capable of lifting 50+ pounds.
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean background and pass a drug screening.
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Stay vigilant and attentive to your surroundings to ensure safety.
  • Communicate effectively in English, as it is essential for the role.
  • Wear appropriate safety gear (gloves, eye protection, hard hat, steel-toed boots, etc.).
