About the Role
The Company is in search of a Dean for its College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. The successful candidate will be a visionary and collaborative leader, responsible for devising the college's strategic priorities in partnership with the faculty. This role requires a focus on retaining a high-quality and diverse faculty, advancing innovative and creative programs, and attracting a committed and diverse student body. The Dean will also be tasked with establishing strong links between research, theory, and professional application, as well as forging connections with other schools and departments across the university. The role demands a leader who can manage and secure the necessary resources to execute the college's strategic vision and who is dedicated to the development of a diverse and talented staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in education and behavioral sciences, with a focus on preparing professionals for a variety of fields, including health sciences, business, the humanities, and performing and visual arts. Experience in community-embedded learning and a commitment to supporting students in a high-quality, personalized education are also key attributes. The Dean will be expected to uphold the university's mission and values, including its commitment to serving first-generation and Hispanic students.
