Job Details We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development to lead our dynamic team in the Managed Services space. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and breaking new accounts. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, driving customer satisfaction, and growing a team of sales professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and success of a leading managed service provider.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed set sales targets.
- Hire and manage a team of sales professionals, providing training, guidance, and support as necessary.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identifying their needs and delivering suitable solutions.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and understand the competitive landscape.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to develop effective sales materials and promotions.
- Prepare and present sales reports, including sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
- Participate in negotiations and close deals, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term engagement.
- Attend industry events, networking with potential clients and staying updated on industry trends and developments.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within managed services.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience building a sales team.
- Excellent client relationship management skills.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapid changes.
- Must be a strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
