Driver Training Instructor

Full Time
Location: Waukesha, WI

Compensation: $55,000 a year

\n

 
Are you passionate about safe driving practices and eager to share your expertise with others? Join our team at Coach USA as a Driver Trainer and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our drivers. The Driver Trainer will be responsible for conducting new hire driver certification training, post-accident training, and annual refresher training for all existing drivers. Coordination with the Operations Department and Safety Manager will be needed for efficient scheduling.

\n Requirements:
\n

\n
• Conduct biannual refreshers for all operators
\n
• Conduct 30-60-90 days follow up refresher on new hires
\n
• Assist in basic operational procedures of the company
\n
• Maintaining driver compliance set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
\n
• Assisting with monthly safety meetings
\n

\n Required Qualifications:
\n

\n
• High School or equivalent
\n
• Ability to operate a large vehicle, a plus
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal communication skills
\n
• Exceptional listening skills
\n
• Ability to think independently
\n
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and will be subject to periodic random Drug and Alcohol Testing
\n
