JOB TITLE: Elementary School Psychologist Assistant

REQUIREMENTS:
Education Level:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Certification or Licensure:
Nebraska Teaching Permit Preferred.
Experience desired:
Previous experience in programs for special education students is highly desirable
Other requirements
Valid Nebraska Driver’s License
SUPERVISED BY:
Director of Student Services.
RECEIVES GUIDANCE FROM:
Director of Student Services, building administrators, school psychologists.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Frequent:
Supports School Psychologists by collecting and managing data related to student needs.
Conducts social, academic instructional groups to support student skill acquisition.
Attends DDT meetings on a biweekly basis.
This position may include Medicaid Administrative Claiming (MAC) activities
Conducts individual assessments.
Occasional or Periodic:
Facilitate 504 meetings.
Collects data for functional behavior assessments.
Conducts observations in various settings.
Attend monthly School Psychology PLC’s.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Student Services.
