A K-12 educational institution in Warwick, RI, is seeking dedicated professionals to fill two openings for Multi-Language Learner (MLL) Teachers. These contract positions are ideal for individuals passionate about supporting diverse student populations and enhancing their educational experiences through effective language instruction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Education, ESL, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Teaching certification in ESL or relevant area.
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly in diverse classrooms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop tailored lesson plans for multi-language learners.
- Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
Location:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging curriculum and instructional materials for MLL students.
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Conduct regular assessments to monitor language development and academic progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
