gpac, a 30+ years recruitment company, is partnered with a well-established company in the Flooring industry. An industry leader in commercial flooring, our client company is looking for a skilled Flooring Estimator to join their team in the Raleigh and Charlotte markets. Position responsibilities:- Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate estimates for flooring projects- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information- Evaluate labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project budgets- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and pricing for materials and labor- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met

Position essential job functions:- Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimates for flooring projects- Prepare bid proposals and submit to clients within specified deadlines- Review project progress and provide ongoing cost analysis- Participate in project meetings to provide input on cost management- Utilize estimating software to streamline the estimating process

Position skills:- At least two years of experience in flooring estimating- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications- Strong mathematical and analytical skills- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy

Benefits:- Competitive salary range of 70-85k- Full benefits package. Relocation assistance available.
