ETL testers for 6+ months contracts

Recent interview update from client:

1. Domain: Healthcare- Mandatory
   1. Very string knowledge of EDI Transactions 837, 835 etc. Headers, layouts, business process etc.
   2. Good knowledge of HL7 standards etc.
2. Data and Functional testing
   1. Approach to data testing
   2. End to end testing
   3. Testing of different file layouts fixed, Variable, delimited files testing considerations.
   4. Types of delimiters and how to differentiate between a delimiter and Text (example comma)
   5. Strong SQL- Joins, functions, data aggregation (Group by clauses etc.).
3. Process
   1. JIRA as attesting tool / pros and cons.
   2. Waterfall vs Agile testing
   3. Test cases prioritization how to approach prioritization.

JD:

Required

Strong background on ETL. Exposure to various file formats like delimited, fixed, XML, JSON etc.

Proficiency in SQL for data validation and manipulation using SQL tools.

Strong skills in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.

Experience with regression, integration, and system testing.

Ability to perform root cause analysis and defect tracking.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Desired

Understanding of Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).

Familiarity with healthcare EDI standards ( e.g.: 837, 835, 834, 820).

Familiarity with JIRA test management tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Ability to work independently and/or as part of the team with excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
