Job Overview

The Event Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and management of a variety of events from concept to completion. This role demands strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will have a background in event planning and a talent for creating memorable experiences. You will report directly to the Marketing Manager, who will provide strategic oversight, while you will handle the day-to-day execution of event tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Event Planning and Coordination : Plan and execute a range of events, including trade shows, on-site visits, company events, and promotional activities. Coordinate all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and logistics.
• Vendor Management : Identify, negotiate with, and manage vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective services.
• Budget Management : Manage event budgets, ensuring that all expenses are tracked and within allocated limits.
• Marketing and Promotion : Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies to maximize event attendance and engagement.
• On-Site Management : Oversee event setup, coordination, and execution. Address any issues that arise during events to ensure smooth operations.
• Post-Event Evaluation : Conduct post-event evaluations to assess event success and gather feedback for future improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
• 1+ years of experience in event planning or coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in event/task management software (e.g., Asana, Eventbrite).
