Wanted: Experienced WordPress Developer
We are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team in Boise, Idaho. Please note that this position requires on-site attendance.
We're looking for a WP Developer to build visually stunning, responsive websites that closely match provided designs and can create appealing layouts based on client input. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is essential, along with a deep knowledge of WordPress, theme customization, Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), and plugin integration. A successful candidate must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and decipher end-client requests. They must have solid experience in responsive designs for desktop, mobile and tablet, with a focus on current best practices for website usability, intuitive user experiences, and website accessibility. Strong attention to detail and self management is required.

Responsibilities and Duties
Responsible for building and updating highly usable WordPress sites using custom themes and plugins
Ability to write custom JavaScript with either jQuery or vanilla JS
Ability to customize WordPress themes and plugins
Develop sites that are responsive, accessible, and cross-browser compatible
Optimize websites for speed and efficiency
Manage all website updates with new content, landing pages and templates
Analyze and debug code-related issues, and proactively identify potential issues
Ensure each website meets quality standards and client specifications before launch
Work closely with clients and project managers to interpret client feedback and project requirements accurately
Provide ongoing support for client websites, handling any required updates, troubleshooting, or additional modifications
Requirements
3 years of WordPress experience
3 years solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, JQuery and PHP
Qualifications and Skills
Comprehensive portfolio of prior WordPress website design projects
Strong knowledge of UI/UX web standards and best practices
Able to implement business requirements with design elements
Deep understanding of best practices in responsive design for mobile optimization
Ability to updates sites for website accessibility (ADA compliance) to the WCAG 2.2 AA
Strong communication skills
Multitasker with solid self-management abilities
Experience installing/configuring/troubleshooting various WordPress plugins and themes
Experience collaborating with creative/content resources to drive up standards of digital creativity
