We are seeking an experienced family law attorney to join our team in an of counsel capacity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law and a passion for helping clients navigate complex legal and emotional situations.
Job Details
Responsibilities
Handle a diverse caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, spousal support, and property division
Provide legal counsel and representation to clients throughout all stages of their cases
Draft pre/post-marital agreements
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and agreements
Negotiate settlements and represent clients in negotiations and court proceedings
Collaborate with our team of attorneys and staff to ensure high-quality service for all clients
Stay current with California family law developments and best practices
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the California State Bar
Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law in California
Strong analytical, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Excellent interpersonal and client communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Bonus for mediation training/experience
