Job Summary
This is a part-time on-site Delivery Driver/Kitchen Admin role located in Austin, Texas.

As the Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for packing all catering orders and delivering to clients. You will ensure all orders are delivered accurately and in good condition and will communicate any issues or delays and resolve problems efficiently. You will be working alongside the kitchen staff while packing orders, as well as at catering events where you will assist with catering set up and take down. Adhering to all health and safety standards while in the kitchen, making deliveries, and at catering events is a must.

As a Kitchen Admin, you will be responsible for making labels for all food items, maintaining appropriate levels of inventory, as well as other small computer-related tasks. This job is part-time.

Responsibilities:

• Pack catering orders
• Manage multiple orders, delivery locations, and customers at the same time
• Deliver orders within an optimal time, ensuring freshness of food and respect for customer preferences
• Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
• Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS
• Communicate clearly with customers and food service employees, demonstrating an eagerness to work through any issues or points of confusion
• Verify orders before each delivery and maintain a detailed, comprehensive delivery log Catering dropoff
• Follow all food safety rules and regulations

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment as a Delivery Driver or related position
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy food orders and operate a vehicle for prolonged periods
• Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication and conflict resolution
• Excellent knowledge of food packing techniques and safety and sanitation standards
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (part-time), including weekends and holidays
• ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification
• Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
• Excellent time management skills
