Summary: Make sure every process is working according to plan on the Production Line; ensure product package is prepared as required and production goals are met; all while adhering to all SQF, health and safety requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with Production Manager/Assistant Managers to organize line workload and staffing.
  • Oversee the production of products on multiple assembly lines. Oversee and directs line teams, ensuring proper processing, assembly, and packaging of product.
  • Monitors and ensures line personnel are thoroughly trained and perform assigned functions to meet/exceed product preparation requirements.
  • Ensures line has required products and supplies to produce finished products according to assembly.
  • Coordinates and minimizes changeover times through organization and planning.
  • Tracks production and ensures all deadlines and schedules are met.
  • Notifies Production Manager/Assistant Managers immediately regarding all employee problems, concerns, and recommendations. Motivates and challenges line members to perform to their full potential through direct and timely formal and informal feedback.
  • Identifies line production issues and brings to the attention of Production Management and/or determines methods of address.
  • Maintains quality results by adhering to SQF regulations; analyzing results; taking corrective actions; maintaining GMP compliance.
  • Documents production by completing records
  • Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Other duties according to business needs.

Qualifications and Skills required:

  • One year of production and manufacturing experience
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow
  • Computer literate
  • Able to work independently and a member of various teams
  • Understand safety requirements and cautions
  • Able to read and write in English and Spanish

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Production team as assigned

Education:

  • College degree - 2 years
  • High School Diploma

Physical Demands and work environment:

  • Frequent use of fingers, hands, and arms.
  • Able to lift to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent use of legs and walking, bending, moving equipment, and other physical activity according to job functions may be required.
