We are seeking a talented, experienced, and onsite Front-end Developer to join our team at Government Software Assurance Corporation (GSA Corp). As a Front-end Developer, you will collaborate closely with our design and development teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and responsive web pages.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement best practices and standards to ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a smooth user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs and performance issues.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in front-end development.
• Recommend tools and capabilities based on your research of the current environment and knowledge of various on-premises, cloud based, and hybrid resources.
• Stay on top of the latest cloud and data architecture resources as you protype using multiple techniques and new technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must have Progressive Web App development experience using Workbox.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Front-End frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, VueJS).
• Experience with Git version control system.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Skills

• C# and ASP.NET proficient.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and CosmosDB.
• Experience with multiple operating systems, including Linux, Unix, and Windows
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with deploying containerized microservices in a Kubernetes infrastructure, with exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Helm.
• Experience working with Computer Assisted Mass Appraisal systems.
