Position Title: Fuel Service Truck Driver - Yoakum

SUMMARY Under general supervision, is responsible for operating the fuel/service truck and conducting basic preventative maintenance (PMs) on fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles. YOUR ROLE • Operates fuel truck on a daily basis in a safe and efficient manner. • Inspects equipment in the field and performs daily service as needed (e.g. grease fittings). • Conducts minor mechanical repairs and performs preventative maintenance on fleet of heavy equipment and vehicles. • Ensures that fuel and equipment are kept filled daily. • Disposes of all waste oil and filters in a proper manner. • Completes required paperwork on a daily basis. • Communicates urgent or major repairs needed on equipment to Foreman, as needed. • Performs additional responsibilities, as assigned WHAT YOU BRING • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. • Three to five years related experience and/or training. • Valid Texas Driver's License required, CDL preferred. • Bilingual preferred (Spanish). • Demonstrates effective written and oral communication skills. • Demonstrates ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence. • Demonstrates ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure. • Demonstrates a sense of urgency in responding to all situations. • Demonstrates ability to prioritize assigned work and complete in a timely manner. • Demonstrates initiative in identifying and resolving problems of limited scope and complexity. • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively as a team. • Demonstrates responsibility in reporting to work on a consistent and timely basis. • Demonstrates the ability to work varying schedules, as needed, to include working overtime. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS • The Servicer while performing the essential functions of this job is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, lift above their head, and talk or hear. The Servicer is also required to kneel, crouch or stoop, climb ladders, bend at the waist, squat and crawl in tight or confined spaces to perform the essential functions of the job. The Servicer will frequently lift, move or push up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision. Ascending or descending stairs is required, and movement of uneven terrain is frequently required to carry out essential duties. Driving of a vehicle is required. PRE-SCREEN Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
