Job Position: Website Designer Location: On-site at 210 Court St., Suite 20, Watertown, NY Full Time: 38-40 hours per week; spread over five days The Web Designer (WD) is a full-time position. The WD is expected to work on location at the office and must maintain a consistent schedule. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Minimum expectations:The WD will create attractive and functional websites for our clients. The WD will also update and troubleshoot existing websites and market solutions and services to and for our clients.CREATE: user-friendly, ADA-accessible websites using both WordPress and Joomla! content management systems. Design and implement website architecture, themes, components, and layouts that exceed client expectations. Ensure all content is engaging, visually appealing, and optimized for performance. Collaborate across teams to produce content that promotes products and services for Coughlin and our clients.COLLABORATE: with all teams to communicate mission-critical updates on project strategy and timelines. Connect with the website team daily to delegate tasks and manage support tickets. Meet with clients to discuss design direction and functionality, gather feedback, and provide project updates. Share ideas to improve the quality, capabilities, and impact of our websites.SUPPORT: clients by responding to all requests in a timely and professional manner.Troubleshoot and resolve content and technical issues. Provide basic CMS training andproduce tutorials or how-to videos as needed.
