The General Manager plays a crucial leadership role, setting the tone for an engaging work culture while ensuring customers enjoy the highest quality food and service. This position is responsible for the overall operation of the restaurant and building a strong team committed to excellence.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Driving exceptional customer service while upholding company standards.
  • Ensuring Crew Members and Shift Supervisors fulfill their duties and deliver safe, quality food in a friendly setting.
  • Analyzing sales, labor, inventory, and other controllables to achieve margin and sales growth targets.
  • Leading a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to all food safety protocols.
  • Managing the restaurant’s budget and financial performance.
  • Maintaining consistent communication with field leadership and restaurant staff.
  • Building an effective team through comprehensive training and delivering constructive performance feedback.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing food safety, quality, and sanitation measures, including receiving shipments and proper storage of ingredients.
  • Conducting health, safety, and security audits and taking corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensuring the facility and equipment meet Taco Bell’s standards.
  • Executing proper opening and closing procedures.
  • Maintaining the safety of guests and employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Obtain a food handlers certificate as required by local or state regulations.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to good hygiene standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, arrive on time, and demonstrate dependability.
  • At least 2 years of experience in quick service or fast-food restaurant settings.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in food management.
  • Minimum of 2 years of drive-thru experience.

Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and a friendly demeanor.
  • Capable of focusing on detail and remaining calm under pressure.
  • Act courteously and helpful with both guests and employees.
  • Strong verbal, reading, and math skills.
  • Effectively communicate ideas, suggestions, and concerns professionally.
  • Make timely decisions that cater to guest and business needs.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and taking ownership.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift 10-40 pounds, reach with arms and hands, and stand and walk for extended periods.
