SUMMARY:
First Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm $40.00 - $48.00 Hr. Reporting directly to the Machining Manager, the CNC Programmer works with the machining team to set-up and program different jobs to support production requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: \n - Programs, sets up, and operates CNC milling, lathes, or other machinery according to blueprint specifications and available equipment.
\n - Programs for operation of CNC Router (Multicam 5000) for other members of machining team.
\n - Utilizes G-Code, Camworks, SolidWorks, or other CAM software.
\n - Reviews solid models, drawings, and customer specifications to understand customer requirements.
\n - Selects appropriate machines (e.g. lathes, mills) and proper set-up of material for job.
\n - Producing quality parts according to the blueprints and company quality standards.
\n - Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements
\n - Ensure all safety guidelines at all times and maintains a clean environment.
\n - Perform other duties as assigned.

GENERAL \n - Programs different materials for production by machining team.
\n - Maintains a clean and organized work area and general housekeeping
\n
\n
TYPICAL EQUIPMENT USED: \n - Computer utilizing Camworks/Solidworks software
\n - 3 or more axis machining center
\n - Various hand tools
\n - Tape measures, calipers and other measuring devices
\n - Carts, dollies and other heavy weight moving equipment
\n
\n
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES \n - High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of vocational training preferred.
\n - 5+ years of industry-related experience in lieu of education.
\n
\n
\n - Demonstrated understanding of tool holders and tool types.
\n - Demonstrated understanding of differing feed and speed settings.
\n - Demonstrated understanding of tool path following/alternative paths.
\n
\n
\n \n - Experience on CNC router Multicam and others CNC Milling machine is a plus ( Haas, Campro with Fanuc control).
\n - Working knowledge of 3D CAD/CAM, Camworks, SolidWorks is a plus.
\n
\n
- Working knowledge of writing and evaluating G-Code.
\n - Ability to accurately use and interpret measuring equipment including precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements.
\n - Ability to interpret dimensions and tolerances.
\n - Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals utilizing GD&T.
\n
\n
\n - Ability to operate & enter data into standard Windows based computers
\n - Good verbal and written communication skills
\n - Strong attention to detail
\n
\n
- Works well with multi-functional teams.
\n
\n - Analytical thinking/problem solving
\n - Excellent organizational skills
\n - Ability to multi-task and be dependable, flexible and adaptable to meet changing or multiple deadlines

\n - Mechanical aptitude
\n - Ability to read and understand QC inspection documentation
\n - Visual acuity to identify surface quality defects 1/32" and larger

- Willing to learn new machining and mold fabrication techniques.
\n
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS \n - Frequent use of hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
\n - Regular exposure to noise, dust, high heat and chemicals
\n - Frequent reaching with hands and arms
\n - Constant standing and use of hands while performing essential functions of the job.
\n - Constantly communicating with others to exchange information.
\n - Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
\n - Must be able to wear PPE as necessary (safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, etc.).
