Job Overview: AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified
Healthcare Training Analyst to support the Department of Defense (DoD) and the Healthcare Training Integration Task Office (HC-ITO) located at
Ft. Sam Houston . The analyst will provide expert technical assistance, conduct program evaluations, and facilitate realignment of military medical training programs. Key responsibilities include researching new training technologies, reducing redundancy across military branches, and presenting findings to senior military leadership. This is an on-base position with Monday through Friday work hours.
General Duties:
- Consultation and Guidance: Provide expert consultation and technical assistance to HC-ITO for the evaluation of military medical training programs.
- Training Program Evaluation: Assist in developing Task Alignment Matrices that align baseline tasks with skill levels across active and reserve components.
- Research and Recommendations: Identify and recommend new training technologies and methodologies to improve program efficiency.
- Facilitation and Communication: Facilitate regular training program analyses and communicate findings in briefings and reports to senior leadership.
Specific Duties:
- Task Alignment: Develop detailed matrices for critical task alignment by skill levels, documenting learning domains and hierarchical classifications.
- Technology Integration: Research training technologies and distance learning opportunities, providing comprehensive recommendations to improve training delivery.
- Cost Reduction Initiatives: Identify strategies for reducing program redundancies across services, streamlining training functions.
- Program Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation for critical task lists, training development, and review milestones.
- Learning Objective Classification: Categorize behavioral objectives by learning domains (affective, cognitive, psychomotor) and hierarchy (knowledge-based, application).
Qualifications:
- Degree: Bachelors degree in Education or a related field with 24 semester hours in relevant coursework.
- Coursework Requirements: Must include at least four areas such as Learning Theory, Instructional Design, Educational Evaluation, or Computers in Education.
- Experience: Minimum five years of experience in education or training, including three years of experience with Microsoft Office, Project, and database systems.
- Skills:
- Knowledge of Systems Approach to Training and Instructional Design.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills, particularly with senior leadership.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-service personnel and external organizations.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, on-site at
Ft. Sam Houston , 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.
