Job Title: Human Resources Recruiter Job Location: Pittsburgh-USA-15231 Work Location Type: On-Site Salary Range: $20.00 - 23.00 per hour Role Purpose Statement As the Recruiter/ Human Resource Assistant you will drive local recruitment strategies by managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding, ensuring the organization attracts and retains top talent to meet staffing objectives. Provides recruitment-related support in employee relations, offering guidance on HR matters to foster a positive, inclusive hiring process and address any recruitment-related challenges. Leads the administration and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations . Main Accountabilities Focus on Recruiting : Manage all aspects of the recruitment process, which constitutes 80% (sourcing candidates, interviewing, ATS systems, onboarding, orientation) . of the role, ensuring alignment with organizational staffing needs. Orientation and Onboarding : Prepare comprehensive orientation packages and assist in delivering new hire orientations to ensure smooth integration into the company. Application Review & Screening : Review applications, conduct phone screenings for qualified candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers across departments. Background Checks & Drug Screens : Initiate and track background checks and drug screening processes to ensure compliance with company policies. Networking : Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, and employee referrals to support proactive recruiting efforts. Weekly Reporting : Compile and distribute a weekly report on open positions, keeping leadership and hiring managers informed of recruitment progress. Event Coordination : Plan, schedule, and assist in organizing job fairs and orientations, actively participating to attract potential candidates. Candidate Sourcing : Research and recommend innovative sources for recruiting both active and passive candidates, staying ahead of talent acquisition trends. Online Recruitment : Leverage the internet for recruitment by posting job openings on appropriate platforms, exploring new online recruitment strategies, and utilizing social and professional networking sites to source candidates. Job Postings : Manage job postings in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), professional organizations, and other relevant channels to maximize visibility. Candidate Location : Identify and document the most effective channels and strategies for finding high-quality candidates, ensuring efficient sourcing efforts. Administrative Support : 20% Administration Duties that include perform administrative tasks and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth recruitment operations and compliance with organizational requirements.
