Job Description
Pegasus Life is expanding our team and launching a new support program for Licensed Health Insurance Agents. We are seeking experienced ACA and/or Medicare agents who are interested in transitioning into true independent production while still having structure, support, and consistent lead flow.
This position is 1099 independent contractor. Agents may work from home or from an office environment. Full-time availability is preferred. You must hold an active health insurance license.
Pegasus Life provides operational support, technology, lead flow, and agent resources. Leads are provided at no cost to the agent. Commission is paid at standard CMS-regulated rates for both Medicare and ACA. Commissions are paid residually directly to the agent by carrier. Support is also available to assist new independent agents during initial ramp periods.
Ideal candidates have prior call center or field experience selling ACA and/or Medicare plans. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow compliance guidelines are required. This opportunity is designed for agents seeking to build their own book of business and earn direct commission.
We will be hosting a recruiting event in Fort Lauderdale on December 8th to provide more information about the program and the support structure available at Pegasus Life. The event will also be hosted virtually for candidates outside of Broward County. Applicants selected to move forward will be invited to attend.
