Job Description

A global leader of Automotive Parts Manufacturing company is now urgently seeking a Japanese Technical Translator / Interpreter near Columbus Ohio area. This position requires professional level of bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English. The ideal will have 2+ year technical translation / interpretation in the Automotive or other industrial manufacturing industry. This position is full-time with a great benefit package.

Duties - Japanese Technical Translator / Interpreter

• Perform technical interpretation in Japanese and English at production site
• Attend meetings and perform meeting interpretation in Japanese and English
• Translate technical documents and others including meeting minutes and reports to their headquarter in Japan
• Assist office and production site by utilizing Japanese / English language skills
• Perform other duties assigned

Qualification - Japanese Technical Translator / Interpreter

• Must be fluent in Japanese and English at Professional level (Speak, Read, and Write)
• 2+ years Technical Translation / Interpretation work experience in the Automotive or other industrial manufacturing industry preferred
• Excellent Communication Skills
• Associate or Higher degree in Translation, Business, or Technical related
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Team work, goal oriented, and detail oriented
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Must be flexible and be able to work under a multicultural environment
• This position includes working in a manufacturing and/or warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
