Job Title: LPN: Corrections
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Setting: Corrections
Pay Range: $1516.00 weekly gross
Schedule: 11p-7:30a, 8-Hour Nights, 40 hours per week, Every other weekend and Holidays as needed
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly. Prior travel experience preferred.

Requirements: 

• Two years of experience as a LPN
• Qualified applicants MUST have at least a minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred. Corrections experience preferred.
• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse license
• Be willing to obtain MD or compact licensure

Responsibilities

As a healthcare professional in a Corrections facility, you’ll play a critical role in serving a unique and often underserved patient population. Your care will directly impact patient safety, wellness, and rehabilitation. A few of the responsibilities include:

• Licensed LPN with an active license to practice in Maryland
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Minimum of one year of work experience as an LPN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
• Two years of experience working as a LPN
• Corrections experience preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
