CoWorx is searching for experienced Machine Operators on 2nd and 3rd shift in the Tri-State NH area!
This position will be responsible for working in an assigned group to meet the daily production requirements of the group.
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Machine Operator for our 2nd shift operations. This role combines responsibilities related to the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing and packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency while maintaining quality and safety standards across all processes. Temp Assignment will last a few months and could become permanent for the right candidate.

• Somersworth: 2nd Shift Mon-Friday (3pm-11pm) at $21/hour and 3rd Shift Mon-Friday (11pm-7am) at $22/hour
• Portsmouth: 2nd shift Tues-Sat 330PM-1130PM (or later) OT requirements including Saturday shifts at $20-25/hour (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and monitor production and packaging machinery, including all machine equipment.
• Perform equipment set-up and product changeovers to meet daily production goals and maximize line efficiency.
• Load/unload yarn packages and other components using motorized lifts or manual techniques as needed.
• Ensure machines are operating according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Documentation & Compliance.
• Read and interpret production work orders, packaging/labelling specifications, and yarn requirements.
• Accurately complete and maintain required production and inventory documentation.
• Follow SOPs, control plans, and safety protocols at all times.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety rules.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, textile, or packaging environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and perform light maintenance on machines.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, and safety documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

Other Information:

Weekly pay on Fridays! (Some overtime may be required depending on production demand.)
