About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Counsel for Energy Products to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal support and guidance on a wide range of strategic, regulatory, and transactional matters related to the energy business. This includes but is not limited to, structuring and negotiating various project agreements, supporting international transactions, and assisting with the expansion into new and emerging markets. The role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial individual with a strong background in energy-focused project finance or construction, and a passion for sustainable energy. Applicants should have a minimum of 12 years' practice experience, with a preference for those who have in-house experience in the energy industry. The role demands a candidate with a strong academic background in law, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in leading large transactions, particularly in the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will be a team player, capable of driving projects, and adept at identifying and solving complex legal and business issues. Strong interpersonal skills, high integrity, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization are essential. The role is suited to an individual who is a quick and flexible learner, and who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
