A high-performing and rapidly expanding manufacturing facility in Butler County, Ohio is seeking a motivated and experienced Manufacturing Supervisor. 💼 Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe and productive work environment through proactive leadership and daily monitoring of processes.
- Supervise production workflows to meet delivery schedules, quality benchmarks, and operational goals.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop skillsets and promote a culture of accountability.
- Collaborate with teams to identify and eliminate inefficiencies using lean methodologies.
- Lead shift meetings and facilitate team-based problem solving using real-time data.
- Partner with other departments to align production activities with overall plant priorities.
- Utilize tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor team performance metrics and adjust priorities as needed to overcome challenges.
🧠 Required skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not mandatory.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, procedures, and quality standards.
- Familiar with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar improvement frameworks.
- Comfortable using digital tools to track productivity, performance, and issue resolution.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
