Marketing & Outreach Assistant (Volunteer Position) Location: Remote Time Commitment: 3-5 hours per month Overview: Are you passionate about environmental education and community engagement? OWL Outdoors is seeking a Marketing & Outreach Assistant to help spread awareness of our programs, events, and initiatives. This volunteer will play a crucial role in reaching schools, businesses, and families, ensuring more people can benefit from our educational and outdoor programs. Responsibilities: Community Outreach: Contact schools, community centers, and local businesses to promote OWL Discovery programs and volunteer opportunities. Content Creation: Assist in developing engaging social media posts, flyers, and email campaigns. Event Promotion: Help advertise upcoming Kids Club activities, Adventure Hikes, and educational workshops. Partnership Development: Research potential partnerships with local organizations and businesses. General Marketing Support: Contribute creative ideas to enhance our outreach efforts. Qualifications: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Passion for environmental education and outdoor activities. Ability to work independently and stay organized. Experience in marketing, public relations, or community outreach (preferred but not required). Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram is a plus. Why Volunteer?
