Marketplace Director SAYN Marketplace Solutions
We are hiring a Marketplace Director to lead our growth and operations on Amazon, TikTok Shop, and other marketplace platforms. This fulltime, officebased role in Miami, FL, requires strategic leadership, deep ecommerce expertise, and a proven ability to manage crossfunctional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Create and execute comprehensive marketplace growth strategies, including product listing, pricing, and promotion plans.
- Align marketplace initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Market Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
- Use data to inform decisionmaking and adjust strategies, covering promotions, advertising, and deals.
- Goal Setting & Performance Management
- Set sales and performance targets and projections for each marketplace.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics to ensure goals are met.
- Inventory & Fulfillment Management
- Oversee inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to balance availability with excess stock.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics to manage stock flow.
- Optimize fulfillment processes, including FBA and FBM models, and develop marketplace shipping templates to reduce costs and improve ontime delivery.
- Ensure compliance with Amazons fulfillment guidelines and standards.
- Product Listings & Brand Presence
- Ensure accurate and optimized product listings (titles, descriptions, images, keywords).
- Maintain gating, transparency, and product detail pages to boost visibility and conversion.
- Guarantee brand consistency across all listings and communications on the platform.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other indicators.
- Generate regular reports tracking performance, KPIs (sales growth, ROAS, CAC), and improvement areas.
- Deliver insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and manage a team of brand managers, motivating them toward shared goals.
- Design and deliver training programs to enhance marketplace management skills.
- Ensure team alignment with policy updates and compliance requirements.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Oversee customer service processes to maintain high satisfaction and resolve issues timely.
- Implement strategies to reduce negative feedback and maintain account health.
- Report any critical account health issues to senior leadership and track resolution progress.
- Brand Management & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Amazons policies, safety, and legal requirements.
- Update internal practices in response to policy changes.
- Manage contracts, documents, and accurate SKU details throughout onboarding and ongoing operations.
- Risk Management & Innovation
- Identify potential operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Handle disputes and issues with Amazon support effectively.
- Leverage advanced tools and software for inventory and analytics, and implement technological improvements.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and boost performance.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing ecommerce marketplace operations, specifically Amazon and TikTok Shop.
- Strong leadership background with experience building and guiding crossfunctional teams.
- Proven track record of driving marketplace growth, optimizing fulfillment, and meeting sales targets.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with datadriven decision making.
- Familiarity with marketplace policies, compliance, and risk management.
