Job Description
Major Job Elements
- Routine maintenance and service of fleet vehicles, pickups, light & medium dump trucks, etc.
- Hydraulic and engine repairs
- Air brake repairs
- Chassis repairs
- Repair of general construction equipment, air compressors, backhoes, etc.
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision
Qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience working as a mechanic with at least 1 year experience repairing diesel engines and hydraulic systems
- Welding and fabrication experience is preferred but not required
- Experience repairing air brakes; certification is preferred but not required
- General knowledge of computers using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Class A CDL license preferred
