Good News Clinics is a historic organization that has been providing free medical care, dental care, and specialty referrals to uninsured Hall County residents in Gainesville, GA since 1992. We are supported by community volunteers, including doctors, dentists, nurses, and administrative staff, as well as contributors. Our mission is to help those who cannot afford healthcare access the treatment they need through our Health Access Initiative.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Receptionist at Good News Clinics. The Medical Receptionist will be responsible for appointment scheduling, phone etiquette, receptionist duties, using medical terminology, managing the medical office, and providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors.

• Excellent phone etiquette, communication skills, and customer service
• Experience with appointment scheduling and receptionist duties
• Knowledge of medical terminology and experience in a medical office
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in using computer systems and electronic health records
• Experience working with diverse populations and demonstrating cultural sensitivity
• Certification in medical reception or related field is a plus
