MIG Welder Job Opening - Production Facility

Location: Cowlitz County | Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Compensation: $20 - $25 per hour

Express Employment Professionals is actively seeking experienced MIG Welders to join a fast-paced production team in a leading manufacturing facility. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and an opportunity to work in a safe, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• MIG Welding : Perform high-quality MIG welding on steel components according to detailed project specifications.
• Blueprint Reading : Accurately interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical drawings to ensure precise welding and assembly.
• Assembly & Fitting : Fit and assemble steel parts with attention to detail and quality assurance.
• Equipment Operation : Safely operate MIG welding machines and other related equipment in accordance with company safety protocols.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with other welders, fabricators, and supervisors to meet production deadlines.
• Workspace Maintenance : Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with all safety standards.
• Troubleshooting : Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety issues promptly.

Job Requirements:

• Proven experience in MIG welding (especially with steel) in a production environment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols .
• Successful completion of on-site welding test to demonstrate skills.
• Proficient in using various welding tools and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with experience in fitting and assembly .
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and productive workplace.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM .

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay ranging from $20 to $25 per hour , based on experience.
• Full-time position with potential for overtime.
