\n \n\n \nAdventHealth Tampa, a faith-based not-for-profit 626-bed tertiary-level acute care hospital located in the uptown district of Tampa, Florida, specializes in advanced cardiovascular medicine, neuroscience and neurology, digestive health, orthopedics, womens services, pediatrics, oncology, endocrinology, bariatrics, wound healing, sleep medicine and general surgery including minimally invasive and robot-assisted procedures. GME programs on the hospital campus currently include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, internal medicine and transitional year.
\n \nAdventHealth Tampa is home to the renowned AdventHealth Pepin Heart Institute, a recognized leader in cardiovascular disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment and leading-edge research caring for Tampa Bays hearts for over 35 years.
\n \nThe Kiran C. Patel Research Institute, also located at AdventHealth Tampa, leads the way in clinical and academic research in the areas of neuroscience, cardiovascular medicine, advanced surgery and more contributing valuable knowledge that leads to tomorrows cures for conditions such as heart failure, cancer and other diseases.
\n \n\n \nTh e role you'll contribute:
\n \n\n \nPerforms a variety of technical procedures, the administration of radionuclides for the in vitro/ in vivo diagnosis and treatment of disease in humans.
\n \n\n \nThe value you'll bring to the team:
\n \n\n \nResolves customer service issues in a timely and efficient manner, treating all customers with courtesy. Communicates issues to Supervisor.
\n \nProficiently performs technical Imaging procedures on all patient age groups and ability to teach the same.
\n \nProvides Imaging procedures to all patients, regardless of sex, age or race. Provides patients with efficient and courteous care.
\n \nProficient on the proper use and operation of the specific imaging equipment and the departments policies and procedures.
\n \nDemonstrates effective communication skills with all staff, patients, families, and imaging services administration.
\n \nWorks with department staff to facilitate patient care across modalities.
\n \nWorks in conjunction with other departments (IE, OR, ED) to facilitate patient care.
\n \nDepartment Gallup scores are achieved.
\n \n\n \nQualifications
\n \nT he expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
\n \n\n \nHigh School education or equivalent
\n \nCompletion of AMA approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology
\n \nRegistry by AART & NMTCB
\n \nAmerican Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
