Job Description

We are seeking an experienced commercial painter to work full time on our downtown properties, which include office buildings and retail spaces. You will be moving from one project to another at all times. Projects can include trim work, interior doorways, and hallways as well as office spaces. As a part of the Operations Team, your ability to stay on schedule while maintaining quality is critical.

Skill sets should include:

• Must have at least 2 years experience professional painting

Utilizes standard paint equipment such as paint and airless spray equipment, motorized lifts, paint brushes, and other related equipment

• Applies technical knowledge of all coating materials to ensure proper application

• Prepares for painting by erecting scaffold and ladders properly

• Patch, repair, tape and mud drywall

• Disposes of residual materials according to local guidelines

• Daily communication with the office manager on job progress and supply needs

• Reports to management upon job completion or when problems/discrepancies occur

• Maintain a neat and clean work area

• Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying particular attention to health and safety procedures

• Ability to work independently is a must

• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50lbs

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
