We are looking to hire a DRIVER WHO WILL FLY TO EACH CITY where we have a match AND PICK UP one of our TRUCKS TO DRIVE to the venue. IF INTERESTED, KEEP READING.
A typical month is 8 days work. 6 days home. Repeat. We will pay for you to fly to different cities, drive, stay in hotel, reasonable food expenses. Pay is hourly up to 40 hours, with 1.5 overtime.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CDL Driver to help manage and transport all MLTT equipment for our events which occur throughout the United States SEPTEMBER - MARCH.
In addition to driving, this role will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Driving: Plan, organize, and execute route specific details for MLTT Events in accordance with the schedule and with approval by either the Director of Logistics or the VP of Logistics.
Logistics duties: Other tasks related to competition/ match support, such as needed: Set up, tear down, operations.
Qualifications and Skills:
The MLTT truck does require a CURRENT CDL license to operate and required the driver to have a current DOT medical exam.
Clean driver’s license with not more than one moving violation in the previous three years.
The MLTT truck is equipped with an ELD (Electronic Logging Device) as required by law. All drivers must use the ELD to track their hours and categories of work.
Familiarity with driving a 26’ truck with a 13’ tall box and mapping out the best routes possible for the truck weight and height.
Stopping at open truck weigh stations is required.
Working Conditions:
A typical month is 8 days work. 6 days home. 8 days work. 6 days home. We will pay for you to fly to different cities, to drive, stay in hotel, reasonable food expenses.
Work will involve days, evenings, and weekends leading up to, during and after MLTT events.
The Logistics Driver will be required to travel to various event venues across the United States.
Heavy lifting and various working conditions in venues will be expected.
The work schedule may be: driving to a venue on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, unloading and setting up on Thursday, assisting with the event on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Assisting with tear-down on Sunday and loading the truck on Sunday evening. Driving to the next venue on Monday followed by traveling home on Tuesday. Daily hours could be 8 am to 10 pm with some days such as Friday and Saturday being shorter.
The Driver is expected to follow all state and federal regulations.
Compensation:
This is part-time work without compensation for holidays, vacation, or benefits.
$25-$28.50/Hr.
Pay is hourly with overtime paid for time exceeding 40 hours per week.
Reasonable travel, hotel, and food expenses are paid.
Wages are set according to your skill set and experience.
